The Chef behind our Creations
Marc Genard is the Franco-Belgian Chef of the Brasserie Meat Me since its opening in 2011.
When he was 14 years old, he already knew that he wanted to be a Chef in a hotel. We can now assertively say that this has happened! After several professional experiences in Asia, and especially in Japan, it is in Brussels that he offers "an honest, simple but effective cuisine."
For him, the Meat Me is the ideal place where you can settle comfortably to enjoy a pleasant moment and be culinary spoiled. "We cook what we would like to eat, we are constantly experimenting, without the constraints of a defined structure."
The Brasserie offers a gourmet, less formal and less expensive experience. The work of this Chef is to "create new and imaginative associations as well as recreating classic dishes, for which the main criteria are the taste."
Finally, if you ask him what he likes the most about the Meat Me, he will simply and plainly reply: "The freedom to cook."
